UPDATE

The engineer is at the exchange..i can tell by this:

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is – 1500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 1920 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was – 1368 kbps

This is by far the best result yet!!

But ive seen this before…it’ll reset to profile 130

UPDATE

BT…

After spending half the day on the fone…again…BT have finally decided the is actually a fault somewhere…but it definitely isnt at the exchange (of course it isnt) so they have aranged an engineer. He’s arriving on the 8th Jan i guess it takes 10 days to get from the support center to crewe…about 2000 miles??
Anyway that will be almost exactly 4 weeks since i was switched on to ‘broad’band and out of those 4 weeks only 2 and a half days has the speed been over 15kB..not good is it? I also contacted the billing department and asked them about a rebate..and they said i would get a rebate for every day it isn’t working properly?!?! so thats EVERY day is it? (she didnt like that question lol)
