Doe-eyed indie types The Holloways are on a joint tour with the Pigeon Detectives and they’ll be coming to Manchester on July 13.
Since the release of the North Londoners’ last single Happiness and Penniless, the four young charmers have been keeping themselves pretty busy.

To celebrate signing their recent record deal with TVT records, they played a triumphant, sold out gig at the 100 Club (and soon after became a highlight of the Camden Crawl festival.

They’ve since stormed through the heats and currently sit in the final 14 out of 2,000 in V Festival/Channel 4’s Road to V competition.

The winner, announced in July on Channel 4, will take the coveted opening slot at this summer’s V Festival.

In addition, notoriously late risers, The Holloways managed to play an 8am gig (in pyjamas and dressing gowns) as part of the Carling 24 Festival.

Two Left Feet is The Holloways’ first release on TVT Records and is produced by Langer & Winstanley (Elvis Costello, Dexys Midnight Runners, Madness, Blur).

The song is built around a dual guitar and fiddle riff while Alfie Jackson sings of being drunk and lonely and the yearning for someone to bring a little joy into his life.
