BT foned me this morning and told me i’d been put on a new card at the exchange and this would fix my problems…nothing changed as yet!

DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 3040 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was – 98 kbps

98kbs thats not even double 56k modem!

If you see an advert for an ISP in the paper or worse on the TV…

well as Feb draws to a close, ADSLMAX is still out performing my 56k modem…but only just!

Just arranged with BT wholesale for engineer #5 to come out and wave a stick angrily at my socket! I actually received my first bill the other day, for dec 11 to feb 10 £180 HAHA thats £60 a month for 0.13M connection….

Anyway OFTEL announced this weel that ISPs are no longer allowed to withhold your MAC address allowing you freedom to migrate to whichever company you like, so BT..this really is your last chance!
